my goodness i did a major double take when i heard the opening vocals to 'piece of my heart' to make sure that this wasn't some lost 1967 recording of janis joplin herself. absolutely incredible cover and the rest of the show ain't too shabby. but daaaammmmmmn this girl has some pipes! i couldn't i couldn't believe my ears.

Great time. I wish this band was touring instead of Furthur.

Wow! This band ROCKS! Billy & Mickey, two of my favorite drummers, playing with Kimock and Gordon....uh, can you say SICKNESS! This show is full of energy and you do not have to see it to believe it. I hope I get a chance to see Steve with the Devils before it's too late!

Thanks Charlie for these shows! Thanks musicians! I love you guys!

Really enjoyed this show... does any one have the Milwaukee show from two nights before this? I would really enjoy hearing that again. The first set was just rocking.

... to thank Charlie Miller too. He is directly responsible for these shows being here! I have not heard this one yet but have heard 7 or 8 others and am thoroughly enjoying this fine new blend! 4 stars unheard because I know it'll be good!

Seriously, Billy? Keep up the diving and mind-blowing artwork. Mickey, keep right on banging your drums all over the world with as many other drummers as humanly possible. Those activities obviously inspire you to create a musical joyride such as this. Kimock and Gordon are having a blast in this band and you don't have to see their faces to know it. Jen Durkin is a rock and soul shouter of the first order with the balls to own these songs in time. The hate crowd really needs to back off and let her grow into the role. I remember her Deep Banana days and what she could do when she's "in the pocket", so simmer down, buckle up, enjoy the ride. This band just might bring me out of tour retirement.

Very good audio quality. Nice "right there" feeling. Thanks to Billy and Mickey for allowing their music here.

Subject: Fantastic!
I am so glad that the Rhythm Devils are allowing shows on the archive! This show is tight all the way through. Jen's vocals are amazing (no surprise) on Piece of My Heart and Fire. The close of the show is sublime, especially The Other One > The Wedge! Just look at the lineup/setlist and tell me you don't want this show.
